Sample day

Below is an example of the types of activities that we do at Tails & Beau.

9am Circle Games and Ice Breakers
Ice breakers and circle games are an amazing way to encourage team work and give us the opportunity to get to know one another. This is a lovely way to start the morning and any first nerves will have disappeared by this point!

9.30am Arts & Crafts Activity
We explore various seasonal themes throughout the year. We love to use nature as our blank canvas and plan exceptional activities that use a range of equipment and tools, such as building a clay birds nest or creating a personalised bedroom sign.

Mid Morning : Break Time
We always enjoy a lovely break time mid morning. The children re-fuel with their healthy nut-free snack and drink. We enjoy this together and then have a wonderful run around.

Painted pebbles
Yoga

11am Yoga, Pilates or Drama Session.
We always offer various physical activities throughout the day. It is so important to keep the little ones moving and burning some energy. We invite specialist practitioners in to Tails & Beau to deliver a variety of superb sessions.

11.45am Animal Rice Cake Cooking
This is a brilliant way for everyone to enjoy a group cooking session, developing fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Anything made is taken home, not eaten at Tails & Beau.

12.30pm Lunchtime and Playtime

1.15pm Parachute Games
Using the parachute for games is an excellent way to work as a team and improve coordination, it is also lots of fun!

1.30pm Sporting Activity
Our sporting activities range from obstacle course creating, dance, ball skills, football, yoga, matball, rounders and more.

2.30pm Friendship Bracelets
We incorporate activities throughout the week that allow us to focus on mindfulness, usually during the creative sessions. Mindfulness awareness exercises are key in helping children develop concentration and self awareness.
